Ted Fick was recruited to lead CPI Card Group—and the Littleton, Colorado, company’s expansion, in 2007. As CPI President and CEO, Fick held the profit & loss (P&L) responsibility for six CPI manufacturing plants with more than 1,200 employees across three countries, and reported directly to the company’s board of directors. By 2008, Ted Fick had successfully increased CPI’s EBITDA from $16 million to $33 million through strategic acquisitions and organic growth.
