In 2001, Ted Fick was recruited to lead the turnaround of Goodyear Tire’s $1.7 billion commercial tire systems unit. In just over two years’ time, Fick turned what had been a $20 million annual loss into a $45 million+ profit – an impressive improvement totaling more than $65 million. As VP of Goodyear’s Commercial Tire division, Ted Fick was also the driving force behind the company’s 20% increase in original equipment market share.
